Andrew is the Senior Partner of the firm, taking over the practice from the firm’s founder, Robert Meaton.
He graduated with an LLB Hons Law Degree from the University of Leicester and obtained a distinction while completing his LPC at Nottingham Law School.
He joined Robert Meaton & Co as the firm’s first Trainee Solicitor during it’s early foundations, completing his training under the tutelage of Robert Meaton. Andrew has worked continuously at the firm since his qualification and became a Partner in 2009. With a keen business mind, he has been instrumental in developing Robert Meaton & Co into the forward thinking, transparent firm it is today.
Andrew has acquired experience in all aspects of Commercial Property including acquisitions and disposals, the granting and taking of leases, and Landlord and Tenant. He has a particular specialism in both commercial and residential developments. His clients include developers, portfolios, financial institutions and international companies.
Andrew also specialises in Business Law, Civil Litigation and Employment Law.
Stephen is the newest partner at the firm, having recently moved to work in the city from a high street practice.
A University of Nottingham graduate, Stephen completed his Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Chester, gaining a Diploma with Commendation.
After completing his training contract, gaining experience in conveyancing, family law and civil litigation, Stephen has spent a large part of his career specialising in residential conveyancing, as he feels that this is where his talents can best be utilised for his primary concern, his clients.
Stephen has undertaken various roles throughout his career, including taking on the position of a salaried partner of another local firm, and brings a wealth of experience to his role here at Robert Meaton & Co.
