Ships & Sea… Time & Tide… Wind & Weather… Stars & Skies.

Nauticalia was established in 1974, as a floating nautical antiques shop aboard a converted rubbish barge on the River Thames at Shepperton. Before long it became obvious that there were not enough antiques to satisfy demand, so the business developed by commissioning detailed replicas, particularly for large items of nautical décor such as diver’s helmets, lamps, and ship’s telegraphs. Rapid growth necessitated a move to premises ashore, where Nauticalia became early proponents of mail order and online retailing – establishing an international presence which was recognised with a Queen’s Award for Export Achievement in 1998.

Although much has changed in 45 years, Nauticalia remains family owned and still operates from a head office next to the Thames at Shepperton, with the aim of fostering and promoting Britain’s maritime heritage around the world. The product range of traditional nautical gifts and clothing, home furnishings, and practical boating accessories now numbers several hundred lines, with new products being added all the time – perfect if you’re looking to create a nautical-themed interior, searching for a gift for a hard-to-buy-for ‘yachtie’, or want to have some fun out on the water yourself.

Made from solid brass with an antique effect finish
Unlike the mechanical originals it has a reliable quartz movement. Battery included
Comes with chain and supplied with a soft velvet bag.
Case diameter 5 cm
From Nauticalia, specialists in nautical gifts and accessories since 1974
